Psalm 122 teaches us to see our faith as a pilgrimage - a remembrance of what we leave behind, a hope for where we're going, and the promise of who we're becoming along the way. 

We inhabit a world that is at war for our souls. Jesus closes the Lord's Prayer with a cry for deliverance in a word filled with evil. So how do we understand prayer and spiritual warfare in a healthy way? How can we confront evil and be equipped to walk in the power of the Spirit with confidence? (Matthew 6:13)

God forgives us not begrudgingly, but joyfully - bearing the cost and canceling the debt of our sin. Forgiving others is often a difficult task, but when we mine the debts the forgiveness we've been given in Jesus, a new way forward is possible. (Matthew 6:9-13)

"Give us this day our daily bread" rewires our spiritual imagination - out of scarcity and into the abundance of God. 

To pray "your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" is to pray at the intersection of our ache for change... and our confidence in the power and presence of God to bring it. (Matthew 6:9-13)
